December 13, 2005

Town of Walworth Regular Monthly Meeting 6:00 p.m. N1301 Town Hall Road

1. Call meeting to order

2. Roll Call – Diane Voss, Larry Austin, Bill Pearce, Tami Martin, Dawn Hildebrandt, and Mike August present.

3. Motion made by Larry to approve the minutes with spelling corrections on names. Bill second. Motion carried 3-0

4. Public Comments • None

5. Alvin Olson Re-zone request

• Hinzpeters gave the Board a letter stating their concerns. • Alvin/Gunner Addressed letter with following statements: i. #1 Will stop burning ii. #2 Paving the road. A few concerns. Farm tractors, semi’s will break driveway. iii. #3 Hours of operation will be 7 to 7p.m iv. #4 Currently 12 employees. Busy April – November v. #5 Will do best to keep place clean vi. #6 Gate can be driven around. They would have to go onto someone. Criminal background check on employees. Never had problems with theft. • Alvin/Gunner gave board documents including a letter with neighbor’s approval, dates he burned, garbage receipts. • Diane Talked to Neil and Matt at the County regarding A-4 zoning issues. Alvin can have an additional conditional use saying that is all it could ever be used for and if sold can’t be used as another A-4 • Larry had concerns for spot zoning. • Motion made to table it until neighbors can reach some agreement. By Bill. Second by Larry. carried 3-0

New Business

6. Ordinance for Road Speed Limits

• Six Corners Start and End. Hwy 14 Whole road 45. North Walworth Road • Lakeville road from Ridge Road East to Walworth / Linn Town 14 • Willow Bend from 6 corners to 14 hwy West 45 • Tami will draft and submit for next month

7. Rescue Contract

• Nothing different from last year. • Motion made by Larry to approve contract. Second by Bill. Motion carried 3-0

8. Pipeline Policy

• So moved to Table until Tami and Mike can work out some language for boring, cutting, and alterations of the road by Larry. Bill second motion. Carried 3-0

9. Concerns, Complaints,

Diane –

• Ship Shape lot being used as equipment and sand and storage area. Ron Nyman was contacted at the County. Diane confronted the dump truck entering the subdivision at 11:55 a.m. carrying in sand. This is a violation of Fontana ETZ zone was not working with the Town of Walworth best. This will be on next agenda.

• Bob Stewart called about a conversion fee he was going to receive.

• Russ Hovde called regarding mill rates

• Aurora University called regarding kids on the road

• Baxter and Woodman contacted regarding sampling station. Diane has heard any more from the Village to date. • Larry and Bill had tax questions

10. Meetings attended.

• Diane attended village board meeting

11. Safety report.

• Fire Inspections are in 32 are in. Larry will bring a list of places next month

12. Road conditions

• Mike reported we are using a lot of sand and salt will be over budget on that if winter keeps going as is.

13. Next meeting 2006 January 10th at 6:00 p.m

14. Bills approved as presented 3-0

15. Motion to adjourn 3-0
