AMEND AGENDA: NONE APPROVE MINUTES FROM October 14, 2008 MEETING: PEARCE/ABELL 2nd made a MOTION to approve the minutes of the October 14, 2008 meeting, and the MOTION carried without negative vote. PLAN COMMISSION REPORT: Next meeting is December 1, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. Bill Martin read the Plan Commission report.

PUBLIC COMMENTS: NONE

REFERRAL TO PLAN COMMISSION: Bob Clemens, Covered Bridges, Final Plat ABELL/PEARCE 2ND made a MOTION to refer Covered Bridges to Plan Commission and MOTION carried without negative vote.

SMART GROWTH: Maps were displayed and continued discussions.

FONTANA/WALWORTH BORDER AGREEMENT: Continued talks.

FONTANA/WALWORTH COMBINED SERVICES: Continued talks.

OLD BUSINESS: None

NEW BUSINESS: Faith Christian School, PEARCE/ABELL 2nd made a MOTION to split fire call bill to $200 and MOTION carried without negative vote. Discuss garbage increase from $114 to $120 was discussed, AUSITN/PEARCE 2nd made a MOTION to increase garbage fees and MOTION carried without negative vote. Flyer will be placed in residents tax bills. Appointment of clerk/treasurer referendum has been passed. The appointment will take place in April 2009. ETZ REPORTS: None.

BOARD REPORTS

TREASURER REPORT: Marisa Nor read the Treasurer report. AUSTIN/PEARCE made a MOTION to approve the treasurer report and MOTION carried without negative vote.

CLERK REPORT: The 2008 Presidental Election went well and wrapping up and closing out the election on SVRS.

SAFETY UPDATE: Larry Austin read safety report, 6 fires and 10 rescue calls for the township. ROAD AND BUILDING CONDITIONS: Fahrner has completed all the road work. Mike has been getting the salt for the winter. Mike discussed the ordering of the new truck. PEARCE/AUSTIN made a MOTION to approve the ordering of the new plow truck and MOTION carried without negative vote. Mike stated that there is a oak tree by Brick Church road that needs to be taken down, owner wants the wood, but does not want to pay for it to be taken down. Mike will look into talking with the owner to come to an agreement.

JOE ABELL, LARRY AUSTIN AND BILL PEARCE-CITIZEN’S CONCERN: Larry reported that a citizen had concerns with windmills on State Line Road. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Burning ordinance. Approve minutes of special town board meeting with Kikkoman. Brick Church tree.
