MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:35 P.M. BY CHAIRPERSON JOE ABELL

ROLL CALL-Chairperson Joe Abell, Supervisor Larry Austin, Supervisor Bill Pearce, Treasurer Marisa Nor, Clerk Angella Buchholz, Road Superintendent Mike August.

AMEND AGENDA: NONE

PLAN COMMISSION REPORT: Next Plan Commission Meeting will be held November 2, 2009 at 6:30 P.M.

PUBLIC COMMENTS: Ed Burke stated that he would not have a problem with Bob Stewarts building. There were 2 letters submitted from Tom Price and Brad and Millie Gottschall and they all were against the Bob Stewart rezone and conditional use.

FIRE/RESCUE COVERAGE RESEARCH DISCUSSION: Continued discussions.

REFERRAL TO PLAN COMMISSION: Shodeen Family Property Co. LLC, rezone from A-1 to A-4 to come into compliance

WALWORTH BORDER AGREEEMENT: Continued discussions. OLD BUSINESS: NONE

TABLED TO NEXT MONTHS MEETING: Jerry and Ellen Dean Rezone and conditional use. Resolution for imposing a special charge against real estate property in the Village of Font

NEW BUSINESS: Bob Stewart and his lawyer spoke on behalf of his request to rezone A-1 To A-4 and conditional use. Bob Stewart and his lawyer discussed the use of the building and trucks traveling on the township roads and they stated that they would be willing to work with the town to have conditions on the use of the excavating business and equipment. Conditions will be available at next months meeting and he will be put on the agenda at that time. Budget Meeting set for October 28, 2009 at 7pm.

NEW TOWN FACILITY: Further discussion and continuing work on collecting information and cost to build the facility.

ETZ REPORTS: None

BOARD REPORTS

TREASURER REPORT: Treasurer read her report. PEARCE/AUSTIN 2ND made a MOTION to approve Treasurer Report and MOTION carried without negative vote.

CLERK REPORT: Recycling grant is completed for 2010. Clerk is working on getting the information for the 2010 census and they will be placed in the tax bills. New clerk hours will be every Wednesday from 9am-12pm

SAFETY UPDATE: Larry discussed rescue and fire calls. ROAD AND BUILDING CONDITIONS: None

REVIEW BILLS FOR PAYMENT: AUSTIN/PEARCE made a MOTION to approve the bills and the MOTION carried without negative vote.

ADJOURNMENT: AUSTIN/PEARCE 2ND made a MOTION to adjourn meeting at 8:10 p.m. and the MOTION carried without negative vote.
